Funeral Services for George Eldridge Davis, 84, will be Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 2:00 pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors with Bro. Garrel Faulkner officiating. Interment will follow at White Rock Cemetery in Shelby County, Texas.

George was born on November 5, 1925, in Garrison, Texas to Easter and Dettie Chandler Davis. George passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Nacogdoches Medical Center Hospital.

George was preceded in death by his parents, and youngest son, Bobby E. Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife Gloria of Nacogdoches, Texas. Mr. Davis is also survived by son, Gregory E. Davis and wife Lynn of Conroe, Texas, son Roger G. Davis and wife Laura of Lufkin, Texas; daughter-in-law Patricia Ann Davis of Pearland, Texas, wife of the late Bobby E. Davis of Nacogdoches, Texas; grandchildren, Samantha and Tony Keith of Shepherd, Texas, Kristie and Charles Veasey of Nacogdoches, Texas, Carey and Carla King of Boulder, Colorado, Suzanne and Dustin Henderson of Conroe, Texas, Robert Davis of Pearland, Texas, Randy and Sarah Davis of Austin, Texas, Keith and Stacy Davis of Nacogdoches, Texas, Jeff and Lori Davis of Mt. Enterprise, Texas, Crystal Davis of San Antonio, Texas; great-grandchildren, Seth Keith, Shay Keith, Whitney Keith, Britney Keith, Christopher Veasey, Elizabeth Veasey, Kelcie King, Tristan King, Caysin Davis, Cali Henderson, Hunter Henderson, Katelyn Davis, Alexis Davis, Tyler Conley, Avery Conley, Corley Davis, Caleb Davis and Garrett Davis.

Pallbearers will be Robert Davis, Randy Davis, Keith Davis, Jeff Davis, Christopher Veasey, Corley Davis, and David Davis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dustin Henderson, Carey King, members of the Nacogdoches V.F.W., and members of the Masonic Lodge.

Visitation will be Friday, June 4, 2010, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
