G. H. Whittington Dies at His Home; Funeral on Monday

George H. Whittington, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Whittington 112 Kreitzer avenue, who has been ill for some time, died early Saturday morning.

Mr. Whittington was born in Vicksburg, Miss., March 21, 1890. In his early youth he removed with his parents to Bloomington and had lived here since. He attended Bloomington schools and was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church. He was employed at the Alton railroad for several years.

Surviving besides his parents are four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. H. A. Iungerich, Chicago; Mrs. L. C. Sherrill, Mrs. William Merna and Mrs. John Marinchek of Bloomington and John H. Jr., Dallas, Tex., and Roy F., of Chicago.

The funeral will be held at the home at 2 p. m. and at the First Methodist Episcopal church at 2:30 p. m. Monday.
