G. L. WOMACK

CHATHAM, La., Feb. 12. -- (Special) -- Funeral services for G. L. Womack, 58, who died Sunday morning at his home in West Monroe after an illness of about three years, were held at the First Baptist Church here Monday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Elmer Davis officiating with the assistance of Rev. C. Karlos Smith, Methodist minister of West Monroe, and Rev. Garrett of Chatham. Interment followed in the Chatham cemetery.

Mr. Womack is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. E. C. Craine of Timpson, Tex., and Mrs. Charles Musick of Shreveport; three sons, Herbert Womack, A. D. Womack and Welford [sic Wilford] Womack, all of West Monroe; and five grandchildren, Joan Craine, Crosby Craine Jr., and George Harrell Craine, all of Timpson, and Durwood Womack and Carol Mae Womack, both of West Monroe.

JONESBORO, La., Feb. 13. -- (Special) -- The funeral of G. L. Womack, 58, of the Chatham community, who died Sunday, was held Monday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Elmer Davis, Rev. Garrett and Dr. Karlos Smith, of West Monroe, officiating. Interment was in the Chatham cemetery.

Mr. Womack leaves two sons, H. C. and A. D. Womack, West Monroe; three daughters, Mrs. E. C. Crain, of Timpson, Tex.; Mrs. Margaret Musick of Shreveport; and Miss Wilford Womack, of Timpson, Tex.; two brothers and five grandchildren.
