Rev. George Lonnie Terrell Jr.
The Rev. George Lonnie Terrell Jr. passed away on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at the Carpenter House of St. Joseph's Hospice in Baton Rouge. He was 58 and a resident of Denham Springs. He was the pastor of Hillside Baptist Church in Albany.
Visitation at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Wednesday, Jan. 11, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation resumes on Thursday, Jan. 12, from 9 a.m. until religious services in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. T.W. Terral. Burial in Evergreen Memorial Park in Denham Springs.
Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Alice Katie and Glen Coots; a son and daughter-in-law, George Lonnie III and Danielle Terrell; and a sister, Edith Lonnell Terrell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Karen McGehee Terrell; and parents, George Lonnie Sr. and Katie Lea Rice Terrell.
He was a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and Louisiana Baptist Convention.
