George Marion Neal

Services for George Marion Neal, 68, of Tioga will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Rev. D. E. Privett officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Cemetery.

Neal died at 2 p.m. Friday in Rapides General Hospital.

He was a native of Lancaster, Pa. [sic Oh.] and a retired U.S. Air Force tech sergeant. He served in World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Tioga and Curtis T. Hines Masonic Lodge No. 317 of Tioga.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Guinn Neal of Tioga; one daughter, Ladonna Ruby of San Antonio, Texas; one stepdaughter, Patsy Rollins of Tioga; one stepson, Robert Plunk Jr. of Tioga; one sister, Gertrude Garrison of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Paul Neal of Tavares, Fla. and Robert Neal of Bradenton, Fla.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
