*Researcher Michelle Taunton has concluded that Sadie's maiden name was SNELL. However, PATTERSON has also been proposed. No evidence for either name has been presented or is known. The 1885 Florida census indicates that Sadie's father was born in AL and her mother in GA. No SNELLs or PATTERSONs are indexed for this county in 1885.
