Funeral Services For George Bolton Are Held Tuesday

Last rites for George Bolton, 59, of Joyce, were held Tuesday at 3 P.M. in East Winnfield Baptist Church following his death Sunday morning at his home. He had been ill since November.

Mr. Bolton, a carpenter by trade, was a native of Winn Parish. He was a member of East Winnfield Church.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Louis B. Williams, assisted by Mrs. Gunter and Mrs. Carroll Grice. Rev. H. J. Mott had charge of the graveside services, with burial in Gorhamtown Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Eunice Grice Bolton, two daughters, Juanita and Sarah Ann; ond son, George W., all of Joyce; three brothers, Jesse P., Temple, Texas; J. T., Winnfield Route Two; and Charlie H., of Route 1, Dodson; and a host of nieces and nephews, who attended the funeral.

Pallbearers, all nephews of the deceased, were J. H. Bolton, Barry Keith Bolton, Monroe Rolen, Woodrow Rolen, Lloyd Rolen, and Billy Rolen.
