George Thomas (Animal) Crandall
Funeral services for Tommy Crandall were held today at Cheyenne School Auditorium officiated by Vern Rich. Burial was in Cheyenne Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne.
George Thomas Crandall (Animal) was born December 26, 1958 in Cheyenne to George S. Crandall and Ester Bee Crandall and died Saturday near Granite at the age of 47.
Tommy attended Cheyenne Public School and graduated in 1977, he the attended Okmulgee State Tech and received a degree in diesel mechanics. In 1974 Tommy started working for Dickason Equipment and continued working there until 2000, then he and his brother, Lee established their own farm repair business, doing work for Doran Burns and Glendon Bruening. He married Gail Willmoth on September 25, 1987 and they made their home in Cheyenne. He was a member of the Western Plains Downed Bikers Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Esther Bee Crandall; four brothers, Ronnie, Donnie, Joe and Carl; five uncles and one aunt.
Survivors include his wife, Gail of the home; four brothers, Phillip Crandall and wife, Deann of Sayre, Lee Crandall of Cheyenne, Lee Rhea and wife, Lisa of Weatherford and Dan Dye and wife, Vicki of Cheyenne; three sisters, Susie Laney and husband, Terry of Norman, Jolene Ginn and husband, Terry of Foss and Maxine Barrow of Arapaho; two sisters-in-law, Robin Crandall of Sayre and Lora Crandall of Missouri; and a host of other relatives and friends.
