George W. Rolen
BUNKIE -- Services for George W. Rolen will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Melancon with the Revs. H.E. Henderson, David Burzynski and Aubrey Foster officiating. Burial will be in Morrow Baptist Church Cemetery.
Rolwn [sic Rolen], 85, of Morrow died at 5:35 p.m. Thursday in Rapides General Hospital, Alexandria.
He was retired from the St. Landry Parish School Board.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel Keller Rolen of Morrow; two sons, J.B. Rolen of Morrow and Pete Rolen of Bueche; one daughter, Maxa Guthrie of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Bell Buchen [sic Buchan] of Jonesboro and Bertha Bratton of West Monroe; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon until time of services today in the funeral home.
