Funeral services for George W. Warner, 93, of Winnsboro, were held on Friday, Dec. 8, in the chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.
Interment was in Ogden Cemetery near Liddieville, with the Rev. C.T. Smith officiating.
A native of Winnfield, he was born Oct. 3, 1896. He was a retired farmer. He died on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 1989.
Survivors include one son, Lloyd Warner, Memphis, Tenn; one sister, Meadis Stringer, Grapevine, Texas; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Harold Russell, Bo Erskin, George Faulk, Sr., Larry Don Brown, James M. Erskin and Wayne Boyd.
