George Willard Prillaman, Sr.
George Willard Prillaman, Sr., of Chapel Hill, died Saturday at UNC Hospitals. He was 79.
Born in Leakville Junction, VA, Mr. Prillaman was a member of the University Baptist Church and retired as director of auxiliary services at UNC Chapel Hill.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 Monday at the University Baptist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Susan Prillaman, of Chapel Hill; two sons, Donald G. Prillaman, of Metairie, LA, and George W. Prillaman, Jr., of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Ashley Ullstein, of Manchester, MA, Macon Richardson, III, of Burlington, Sarah Richardson, of Durham, and Elise Richardson, of Durham; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Walker's Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to University Baptist Church, Building Fund, 100 S Columbia Street, Chapel Hill NC 27516.
