George W. Robinson

HAZLEHURST -- George William Robinson, 77, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, after a long illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Damascus Baptist Church with burial in the Damascus Cemetery. The Rev. Ward Byers, Rev. Wilson and the Rev. Rowe C. Holbomb officiated.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Ollie Whittington Robinson; a son, John E. Robinson of Hazlehurst and 12 grandchildren.
