MRS. GEORGIA MCCLARY LEE
Riser Funeral Home
Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia McClary Lee, age 80, of Columbia will be
held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 23, 2004, from the Columbia Chapel of Riser
Funeral Home with the Rev.'s Shane Duke and Jim McKeithen officiating.
Interment will follow in the Welcome
Home Cemetery at Grayson.
Mrs. Lee, a homemaker, was born on Sunday, August 5, 1923 and passed from
this life on Saturday, February
21, 2004 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe
following an extended illness. Born to the
union of William and Ollie (Batson) McClary at Grayson, LA,
she lived all of her life in the Caldwell Parish area.
Nine brothers and sisters preceded her in death and she was
also preceded in death by her grandson, Cory
Lance Laird.
Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Mr. H.L. Lee of
Columbia; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and
Mary Alice Lee of Columbia; daughter and son-in-law, Melba and
Al Laird of Kelly and her daughter, Sharon
(Lee) Lovett of Baton Rouge, LA; six grandchildren, Kendra Lee Cubbit,
Colby Lane Laird, Natalie Nicole Poole,
James Randall Lovett, Krystal Michelle Lovett and Walter Linton Lovett;
three great grandsons, Lucas Ryan
Cubbitt, Tanner Levi Cubbitt and Clinton Neal Cubbitt; two sisters,
Eva (McClary) Justice and Comilla
(McClary) Rushing both of Grayson, LA.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, February 23, 2004
from 10:00 AM until time of service, at the Riser
Funeral Home, 7131 US Highway 165, Columbia, LA.
