BRUZEWSKI

BRUZEWSKI, Georgia Naomi (Taunton) (Bell) - Of Alpena, formerly of Swartz Creek, age 64, died Thursday, February 29, 1996 at her daughter's residence in Lapeer. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Monday, March 4, 1996 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend James Thomas officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Genesys Hospice. Visitation 7-9PM Saturday and 1-9PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bruzewski was born in Butler, Georgia on February 22, 1932 and was a longtime resident of Swartz Creek before retiring to Alpena. She married Robert M. Bruzewski on May 29, 1971 in Flint. She enjoyed being a Scout Leader and was the leader of Troop #25 of the Fairwinds Girl Scouts for 15 years. Mrs. Bruzewski was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her husband, Robert; 3 daughters, Jenifer Diane and husband Ron Monette of Lapeer, Nancy Bell Perry of Thomaston, Georgia, Amy Kathryn Bruzewski of Alpena; 2 daughters-in-law, Teresa Bell of Gaines, Glenda (Bell) Tyler of Thomaston, Georgia; 9 grandchildren, Shaun, Matt and Katrina Monette, Corey, Jed and Julie Dinkins, Jennifer, Brad and Greg Bell; 2 great-grandchildren, Courtney Dinkins, Hayley Monette; 6 brothers, Cecil, Clayton, Joe, Don, Zeno and Roland Taunton; 2 sisters, Sue Henson and Linda Passmore; several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil C. Bell, Sr.; 2 sons, Terry and Cecil Bell, Jr.; parents, Wanza and Corine Taunton.
