SINTON -- Mrs. Georgie Lee Spencer, 66, of Sinton, mother of Mrs. Ray Morgan of Victoria, died at 2:45 a.m. Thursday morning in a local hospital following a lengthy illness.
A native of Vivian, La., Mrs. Spencer had lived here since 1953, moving here from San Antonio. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and Sinton Chapter 515 of the Order of Eastern Star.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday from Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel here, with the Rev. Bill Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Taft Cemetery at Taft.
Other survivors include another daughter, Mrs. Jack Patterson of Taft; a brother, James Emmons of Durant, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Nason of Sager [sic Sayre], Okla., and Mrs. Nettie Reames of Hugo, Okla., and two grandsons.
