ATLANTA -- Graveside services for Gerald J. Barton will be at 10 a.m. today in Brown Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Taylor officiating. Burial will be under direction of Southern, Winnfield.
Barton, 63, of Winnfield, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998, in Winn Parish Medical Center.
He was retired from the timber industry.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Barton of Winnfield; three sons, Rickey Barton, Dale Barton and Randy Barton, all of Winnfield; two brothers, Sam Barton of Williana and Clyde Barton of Atlanta; four sisters, Linnie Guynes, Angeline Bartley, Edna Whitton and Frances Rodgers, all of Atlanta; and two granddaughters.
Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until shortly before time of services today in the funeral home.
