HARBOUR, GERALD SIDNEY ``JERRY''

A retired Baker High School teacher, he died at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at his residence in Baker. He was 72 and a native of Louisiana. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Visiting was at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Dennis Allen and the Rev. Allen Johnson. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Baker.

Survived by his wife, Floye Harbour, Baker; stepmother, Dorothy Harbour Turnipseed, Monroe; a daughter, Suzanne Harbour DePrato, Zachary; a son, David Harbour, Nederland, Colo.; a sister, Ginger Harbour Graham, Monroe; a brother, Ronnie Harbour, Memphis, Tenn.; a grandson, Jeremy DePrato and wife June; and a great-grandchild, Marley DePrato.

Preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Lindsey; and father, Dewey Harbour.

Pallbearers will be Vernon Dennis, Larry Thomas, Richie Ory, James Lee, Joe Conachen and Bobby Joe Nissen.

He received his master's degree in education from LSU and a bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
