MICRO - Gertha Parker Wellons, 87, of Route 3, Selma died Dec. 9, 1992.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Burial will be in Micro Memorial Gardens.
A native of Johnston County, she was a schoolteacher, a member of Micro Free Will Baptist Church and a graduate of Wake Forest.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Mary Martin of Micro, Mrs. Leta Pillion of Greensboro, Mrs. Jency Griffin Jr. of Fayetteville; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 tonight, other times at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mary Martin.
