Mrs. Gertrude Bratton Dunn

Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Bratton Dunn, 75, of Grayson were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 18, at Cross Roads Baptist Church with Rev. David Hudnall, Rev. Mack Bellmore, Rev. Glenn Meredith and Dr. W. M. Causey, Sr. officiating.

Burial followed in the Church Cemetery under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dunn passed away Oct. 16 at Citizens Medical Center after a brief illness.

Mrs. Dunn was a retired nurse.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Myrtis Batson, Mrs. Choltield [sic Chlotield] Phillips, and Mrs. Rachel Cruse, all of Grayson, Mrs. Ethel Chapman of Gloster, Miss., and Mrs. Kay Ellerbee of Columbia; one brother, Mr. B. F. Bratton of Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hagler and Mrs. Ollie Holt, both of Alexandria, and Miss Ruby Bratton of Clarks; 13 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Waymon Sims, Micheal Cruse, Henry Lee Nelson, Walter Brown, Larry Lindsey and Tommy Ellerbee.
