Mrs. Johnson, 87

Mrs. Gertrude Dunn Johnson, 87, a resident of Forest Hill, died at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday in her home. She was the widow of George M. Johnson Sr.

She is survived by three sons, C. Clyde Johnson of Turkey Creek, J. B. Johnson of Chinle, Ariz., and George M. Johnson Jr. of Forest Hill; eight daughters, Mrs. Boyd Whittington of Pine Prairie, Mrs. A. B. Porter of Ruby, Mrs. D. L. Hendrix Sr. of Humble, Tex., Mrs. E. J. Rhinehart of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. James S. Jones Jr. of Ruston, Mrs. E. C. Lyles of Pineville, Mrs. Sam Poole Sr. of Forest Hill, and Mrs. Gayle Hearn of Montgomery, Ala.; a brother, Henry Lee Dunn of Forest Hill; 24 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Hixson Bros. chapel, Alexandria. Burial will be in Butters cemetery, Forest Hill.
