Gervis M. Keel, 79
Gervis M. Keel, 79, of Magnolia, passed away Aug. 31, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was a retired civil service employee from the VA Hospital in Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Greer Keel, in 1999.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia (Bob) Hoffie of Magnolia and Gwen Murphy of Louisville; a son, Kenneth (Marilyn) Greer of Magnolia; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Gary Talley officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
