Services for Gilbert Montgomery will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Rush, Pineville, with the Rev. Calvin Cantrell officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Ball.
Montgomery, 66, of Shreveport died Friday, Aug. 6, 1999, in Willis-Knighton Medical Center, Shreveport.
He was a native of Grant Parish and worked as a tax preparer and consultant, CPA and notary. He was a member of VFW, Society of Notaries and American Society of Professional Tax Preparers.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Brown Montgomery of Shreveport; four daughters, Gail Coddou and Carla Hurt, both of Shreveport, Brenda Cantrell of Boyce, and Elizabeth Peace of Keithville; one brother, Sidney Montgomery of Gary, Texas; nine grandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
