Gilda (Meaut) Barber
September 16, 1926 - June 17, 2010

Gilda Meaut Barber of Gulfport, Miss., passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010.

Gilda was born and raised in Biloxi, Miss. She is survived by her husband, Col. William E. Barber (Ret.); three sons, Chuck Ruckel of Lucas, Texas, Jim Ruckel of Niceville, Fla., and Greg Ruckel of Santa Teresa, N.M.; her sister, Beverly Booker of Biloxi; and her sister-in-law, Cleo Meaut of Biloxi.

Gilda also has five surviving grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was interred at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
