GIL P. WILLIS
Gil P. Willis, 62, of Austin, passed away on July 1, 2003. He was born in Athens, TX, and was an Austin resident since 1975.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Judy; and his beloved daughter, Kim.
He is survived by his sister, Sandy Fite; sons, Jeff and Matt Willis; and five grandchildren.
Gil served his country in the U.S. army and was active in organizations including the Jaycees, Rotary, American Legion, American Cancer Society and many other business and charitable organizations. Gil never met a person he didn't like and he has touched many lives and hearts in his adventures. He will be missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2003, at Cook-Walden Chapel of The Hills Funeral Home, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas.
