EVANS -- Gilman Burrus, died Friday morning at his residence, 711 Parkmont, age 44 years.

Survived by wife, Mrs. Lula Adams Evans; three brothers, F. N. and Henry of Mansfield, La., and Dr. A. A. Evans of Negreet, La.; four sisters, Mrs. A. A. Johnson and Mrs. Asa Weed, both of Mansfield, Mrs. Lester Byron Of Houston, Mrs. V. V. Van, Houston; father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. D. N. Evans, Mansfield; one nephew, C. G. Evans.

Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday from Ed C. Smith & Bro. Chapel. Interment Grove Hill Cemetery.
