Gladys Bearden Blundell

SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Gladys Bearden Blundell, 74, will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 14, 1996 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Franks, pastor of Oakmont Church of God. Burial will be in Forest Park West.

Mrs. Blundell died Monday, February 12, 1996 at Schumpert Medical Center following a sudden illness. She was born in Jonesboro, LA and was a resident of Shreveport, LA all of her life. She was a member of the Oakmont Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred R. Blundell and son, Louis R. Blundell.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Ethel Bearden, West Memphis, AR; one daughter, Mae Dean Daniels, Winston Salem, NC; two sisters, Essie Burson, Monroe, LA, Ruby Nell Jensen, Oklahoma City, OK; four brothers, Willie Bearden, West Memphis, AR, Isaac Bearden, Ernest Bearden, both of Shreveport, LA, Melvin Bearden, West Memphis, AR; four grandchildren, Kyle, T. J., Wendy, Brad; special niece and nephew, Nancy and Jimmie Dale Meyer; numerous other nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be members of Oakmont Church of God.
