Glen Rochelle Powe
January 10, 1924 - October 3, 2014

Glen R Powe, 90, of Fort Oglethorpe, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2014, at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of the Fort Oglethorpe community and founding member of Fort Oglethorpe Church of Christ where he served many years as an elder and was instrumental in building the current church home where he faithfully worshipped his Lord until his passing. Mr. Powe was a veteran of the US Army serving in World War II. Glen is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Lois Cox Powe, and special friend Billie Westbrooke.

Mr. Powe is survived by son, Terry (Kay) Powe, Hixson, daughter, Kathy (Mike) Lehman, Ringgold, sister, Norma Carollo of LaCombe, LA, grandchildren, Jeff (Sarah) Powe, Suzanne (Brad) Vickers, Casey (Ashlee) Lehman, Amanda (Jeremy) Hatcher, and great-grandchildren, Sam, MaeMae and Luke Powe, Maddox, Bennett and Elliott Vickers, Jack and Adyson Hatcher, and Ava and Audree Lehman.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, with Minister C.G. Griffith officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
