Glenn Raymond McClendon Jr.
On May 27th, Glenn Raymond McClendon Jr. peacefully passed away at Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Fla. at the age of 70. Mr. McClendon was born in Lafayette, Ala., attended school in Lafayette and was a member of the Class of '62. He graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Transportation. He later became the president of McClendon Trucking Company.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Raymond McClendon; and his mother, Anne Fuller McClendon.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Priscilla Branch McClendon of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; Glenn Raymond McClendon III (Trey) and his wife, Ashley, and their daughter, Mary Glen of Washington, D.C.; Robert Branch McClendon and his wife, Mindy Smith, and their children, Jensen Elise and Livingston Branch McClendon (Levi) of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; and Amanda Susan McClendon and her son, Mason McClendon Dewberry of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.
A private family service was held on May 30th in Lafayette, Ala.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alaqua Animal Rescue in Freeport, Fla.
