KILGORE -- Services for Glover M. Jones, 72, of 2700 Dudley Road, Kilgore, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bill Peery and Lester Carpenter officiating.

Burial will be at Kilgore Cemetery.

Mr. Jones died 10:10 p.m. Saturday in a Kilgore hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a retired building contractor, a member of the Eastview Baptist Church and had lived in Kilgore since 1931.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. G. M. Jones of Kilgore; two daughters, Mrs. Loyd Waters of Whitehouse, Mrs. Dewey Gordon of Ki[l]gore; one son, A. W. Jones of Novato, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Farres Parker [sic Forest Barker] of Odessa, Mrs. Janie Mae Coleman of Harlington, Mrs. Alton Carpenter and Mrs. Lester Carpenter both of Windfield [sic Winnfield], La.; four brothers, John A., Debs and Curtis all of Kilgore, James L. of Windfield [sic Winnfield], La., 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
