Mrs. Grace Durham, Former Resident
Mrs. Grace Rice Durham, 67, former Pine Bluff resident and wife of W. C. Durham of 402 Jordan, Shreveport, La., died at 5:30 a.m. today in a Shreveport hospital as the result of a brief illness.
She was born in Amity, and had lived in Shreveport the past 16 years.
Mrs. Durham was a daughter of the late Rev. George W. and Mary Rice. Her father was for number of years a member of the Arkansas Conference of Methodist churches.
Mrs. Durham was a member of the Noel Methodist Church in Shreveport.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Robert C. Durham of Pine Bluff and W. Jack Durham of Shreveport; three daughters, Adeline Durham of Shreveport, Mrs. C. P. Kuchenbecker of Bridgeport, Conn., and Mrs. H. A. McCreary of Jacksonville, Ark.; one brother, J. W. Rice of Palestine, Tex.; and two sisters, Mrs. M. A. Jackson of El Dorado and Mrs. Maude Ritchey of Corpus Christi, Tex.
The body will arive in Pine Bluff tomorrow afternoon.
Funeral services will be held Saturday.

Durham Services Conducted Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Rice Durham, 67, former Pine Bluff resident, who died Thursday in a Shreveport hospital, were held at 2 p.m. today at the Robinson funeral chapel. The Rev. Ray A. Lambert, pastor of Hawley Memorial Methodist church, officiated. Mrs. Durham was the wife of W. C. Durham of Shreveport and mother of Robert C. Durham of 1704 West 27th.
Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were: Wayne Hogan, Oscar Ginnett, Johnny Henry, James Williams, W. S. Flynn, Joe Rosalie, S. A. Holt and Stanley Roberts of Shreveport, La.
