CRYSTAL SPRINGS -- Grant W. Whittington, 76, died Thursday at his home. Services are 2 p.m. today at Stringer's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in County Line Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma Taylor Whittington of Crystal Springs; sons, Alton Whittington of Crystal Springs, Floyd Whittington of Vicksburg and Jerry Whittington of Denham Springs, La.; daughters, Miss Carol Vin Zant of Crystal Springs and Mrs. Aletha Gibson of Brookhaven; sister, Lena Taylor of Crystal Springs; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
