Graves Morris Jones

Graves Morris Jones, 87, of Beaumont died October 9, 2001, at Canterbury Villa in Beaumont.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church with entombment at Magnolia Cemetery Mausoleum under the direction of Broussard's on McFaddin. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday with a Christian vigil at 7 p.m. at the mortuary.

A native of Brenham, he lived in Beaumont 60 years, was retired from IBEW No. 479 and was a glassblower.

Survivors include his wife, Florine Jones of Beaumont; sons, Morris Jones and Steve Jones, both of Beaumont; daughters, Marguerite ``Maggy'' Jones of Beaumont and Laura Barr of Bay City; and nine grandchildren.
