HERRINGTON, MRS. GREATE WHITTINGTON

Died at 9:20 p.m. Friday, May 28, 1982, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 55, a native of Gloster, Miss. and resident of Zachary.

Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary, Sunday from noon until religious services at 2 p.m., conducted by Dr. Wayne Barnes. Burial in Azalea Rest Cemetery, Zachary.

Survived by her husband, Roland Drew Herrington, Zachary; a daughter, Linda Gail Cowan, Zachary; a son, Lewis D. Herrington, Pride; mother and stepfather, Mrs. Nonice and J.C. Bowman, Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. Treace W. Smith, Greenwell Springs; and a brother, William ``Bill'' Whittington, Baker; three grandchildren, Tracy and Danny Cowan, Zachary, and Patti Ann Herrington, Pride.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Baker.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Herrington, Dennis Ellard, William Whittington Jr., Steve Hebert, Fred Crumholt and Jackie Whittington.
