Grover Cleveland “Jack” Carroll, Jr., 88 of Minden, LA passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Willis Knighton Medical Center in Bossier City, LA. He was born October 08, 1924 to Grover Cleveland Carroll, Sr. and Allien Sullivan Carroll in Camden, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Cleveland, Sr. and Allien Sullivan Carroll; brothers, L. J. Carroll, Grady Carroll and triplet brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Ruth Carroll of Minden, LA; sons, Eddie L. Carroll and wife, Becky of Minden, LA and Billy L. Carroll and wife, Pat of Sibley, LA; daughters, Susan L. Carroll Neal and husband, Charles of Ashdown, AR, Kay Thomas and husband, Jim of Frisco, TX and Ann Sykes and husband, Otis of Keller, TX; brother, Henry Carroll of Camden, AR; sisters, Evelyn Bright of Lewisville, AR and Virginia Toney of Canyon Lake, TX; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Bethesda Cemetery in Camden, AR. Reverend Crider will officiate the service. Visitation will be Sunday 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Proctor Funeral Home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
