GROVER C. McDANIEL

Grover C. McDaniel, 71, of 1435 North Johnston, a resident of Springfield 30 years, died yesterday morning at 11 in Handley Hospital.

He was a member of First Pentecostal Church of God.

Mr. McDaniel is survived by six sons, Paul and J. B. of the home, Jewell and Leonard of Los Angeles, Calif., and Grover C., Jr., of Springfield; three daughters, Mrs. Bertie Barber of Nixa, Mrs. Daisy Tate of Springfield, and Miss Wilda McDaniel of the home; one brother, Aldrof of Laura [sic Laurel], Miss.; and three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Knight, Mrs. Teressa Johnson and Mrs. Lois McKinney, all of Laura [sic Laurel]; and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p. m. Wednesday in Klingner Chapel, with the Rev. M. E. Wicker officiating.

Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Funeral services for Grover C. McDaniel, 71, former Laurel resident, were held Wednesday in Springfield, Mo., where he had been making his home prior to his death on Sunday, after a brief illness. Officiating at the service was the Rev. M. E. Wicker, and burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Surviving are six sons, Curtis McDaniel, Kansas City, Mo., Jewell McDaniel and Leonard McDaniel of Los Angeles, Calif., J. B. McDaniel, Paul McDaniel and Grover McDaniel, all of Springfield; three daughters, Mrs. Bartie Barber, Nida, Mo., Mrs. Daisy Tate and Miss Wilda McDaniel of Springfield;

One brother, A. R. McDaniel of Laurel; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Knight, Laurel, Mrs. Teresa Johnson, Ellisville, and Mrs. Ray McKinney, Port Morris, N.J.; and 13 grandchildren.
