A. G. GUICE

EPPS (Special) -- A. Grover Guice, 71, was stricken with a sudden heart attack at his home in Epps, Wednesday afternoon. He was rushed to the Delhi clinic but was dead on arrival. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Pinehill Baptist Church at Sicily Island at 3. Interment followed in the New Pine Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Guice; three sons, Howard of Isola, Miss.; Harvey, of Dyersburg, Tenn. and Horace of Epps; two daughters, Mrs. Otto Flowers, Baton Rouge; Mrs. Nolan Oubre, New Orleans; one step daughter, Mrs. E. D. Morace, Ferriday; six brothers, Charlie Guice, Epps; Henry Guice, Sicily Island; Elmore Guice, Texas, Fielding Guice, Ras Guice, and Ira Guice, all of Sicily Island.

Mr. Guice is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
