Gus Edward Culbreath, Jr.

Gus Edward Culbreath, Jr., 70, of Crossett died Friday, May 26, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. Born March 21, 1930, in Crossett to Gus E. and Mollie Jeffers Culbreath, he was retired from Georgia-Pacific, and he was a member of the Beech Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two sons, Tommy and Tony Culbreath, and one daughter, Pamela Gay Culbreath.

Survivors include his wife, Betty McNabb Culbreath of Crossett; two sons, Eddie Culbreath of Mer Rouge, LA, and Randy Culbreath of Crossett; three sisters, Barbara Flemister and Margie Kalil of Monroe, LA, and Betty Briggs of Crossett; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, May 29, in the Beech Street Baptist Church with Bro. Bob Vest officiating. Burial followed services at Pinewood Memorial Park, directed by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
