Funeral Services For Mrs. Taunton Tuesday P.M.

Gussie Harmon Taunton, ... Columbus hospital ... a.m. Her death was attributed to pneumonia. She had been ill only a few days.

Mrs. Taunton was born in Taylor county June 30, 1881, the daughter of the late Mr. William and Mrs. Jenny Cox Harmon. She was married in young womanhood to Mr. G. N. Taunton and made her home in the county all of her life. She was a member of the Church of God.

Funeral for Mrs. Taunton was conducted at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. Wesley Hutcherson of Warner Robins officiated. Interment was in Bethlehem cemetery.

Pall bearers were: Messrs Cecil Taunton, Evans Joiner, William Flowers, Roswell Howard, Jimmy Ken and Owen Fulford.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. G. N. (Goode) Taunton; three sons Messrs Oscar, Arnold and Jack Taunton of Butler; and six daughters, Mrs. Morris Trice and Mrs. H. L. Joyner of Thomaston; Mrs. Walter Minton, Mrs. W. H. Hathaway and Miss Alice Taunton of Macon, and Mrs. H. D. Hankinson of Butler.

Edwards Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
