Guy Black

JONESBORO -- Funeral services for Guy Black, 65, of Jonesboro were at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Fuller and Lowell Reichardt officiating.

Burial was in Antioch Cemetery near Quitman under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home here.

Mr. Black, retired shipping supervisor of Continental Can Co. at Hodge, died Wednesday at Jackson Parish Hospital after a long illness.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Black of Jonesboro; two sons, Donald Black of Bossier City and Gary Black of Jonesboro; four sisters, Mrs. Lela Mae Griffith of Chatham, Mrs. Eva Birdwell of Bossier City, Mrs. Beatrice Hood and Mrs. Verda Hargrove, both of Jonesboro; a brother, Grady Black of Jonesboro; and three grandchildren.
