Hal Hart Hinton
Hal Hart Hinton, 92, of Gloster, died March 5, 2004, at Field Memorial Community Hospital in Centreville.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster., and continues Sunday from 1 p.m. until services at the funeral home at 3 p.m. The Rev. Charles Nash will officiate. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery in Gloster.
Mr. Hinton was born April 20, 1911, in Amite County to Edward and Mary Eunice Toler Hinton.
He worked as a self-employed mechanic.
Mr. Hinton was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen Hinton; and a brother, Larry Hinton.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Hinton Ferguson and her husband Virgil of Gloster, and Kathy Hinton Meyer of Lafayette, La.; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a nephew, Lawrence Hinton.
Pallbearers will be Hal Ferguson, Dwayne Ferguson, Wallace Ferguson, Lonnie Calloway, Emmett Meyer and Virgil O. Ferguson.
