H. G. Parker

Funeral services for Hardy G. Parker, 79, of Winnsboro were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Interment was in Harris Cemetery near Winnsboro with the Rev. Lee Smith officiating.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Crockett Point Baptist Church.

Survivors include 7 daughters, Mrs. Leora Keene, Monroe, Mrs. Geraldine Reynolds, Darnell, Mrs. Jeanetta Ingram, Winnsboro, Mrs. Sarah McQuillin, Brookhaven, Miss., Miss Dorothy Parker, Monroe, Mrs. Carolyn Hightower, Rayville and Mrs. Ann Williams, Delhi; four sons, Hardy M. Parker, Anaheim, Calif., Ban Earl Parker, Corpus Christi, Tex., Carl Parker, Monroe, Wayne Parker, Prattville, Ala.; two brothers, Earnest Parker, Newellton and Marshall Parker, Start; three sisters, Mrs. Mellie Martin, Crowville, Mrs. Ruth Marshall, Crowville and Mrs. Anna B. Bradley, Monroe, Monroe; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were James Marshall, Charles Earl Monroe, Sharon Wroten, Garland Peters, J. D. Sikes, and Ted Brown.
