Hardy V. Yates

Hardy Virgil Yates, 47, of 6726 14th Ave. N. W., died Saturday after a sudden illness. He was a hoisting engineer.

Masonic services will be held at 3 o'clock Wednesday in the Wiggen & Sons Chapel. Burial will be in Washelli.

Mr. Yates was born in Goodlett, Tex. He lived in California as a boy and was a fisherman in Alaska in the early 1940's. He came here 15 years ago.

Mr. Yates was a member of Local 302, Hoisting Engineers' Union, and Greenwood Chapter No. 252, F. & A. M.

Surviving are his wife, Signe; three sons, Russell, Roy and Roger Yates, all of Seattle; three brothers, and two sisters.
