H. C. McCloy Funeral Rites Slated Today

Funeral services for Harold C. McCloy, 53, building company executive who died Friday at his residence, 464 Ockley Dr., following a long illness will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. in Rose-Neath Chapel.

Dr. James P. Harris, pastor of Broadmoor Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park.

Mr. McCloy was the treasurer of the Mansfield Hardwood Lumber Co. of Texas, the Louisiana Builders Supply Co., the Two-States Lumber Co., and was auditor for the Pelican Lumber & Supply Co., all of Shreveport. He had been in the lumber business in North Louisiana since 1926.

He was a native of Richmond, Tex., and lived in Winnfield for a number of years before moving to Shreveport as an executive of the Mansfield Lumber Co. in 1951.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Gladys Anders McCloy; a daughter, Mrs. Paul L. Miller, Shreveport; a sister, Mrs. Mary Eddington [sic Edgington] of Shreveport; and a brother, John McCloy of Winnfield.

Pallbearers will be T. W. M. Long, W. N. Sledge, Ray Mayo and Malcolm Barber, all of Shreveport, and A. C. Coorpender of Jonesboro.
