Services for Harold Dean Ford will be held Friday, February 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the chapel at Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville, LA. Bro. James Hickman will be officiating.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and then again from 8:00 AM until time of services at 10:00 AM at Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
Harold was born August 15, 1955, to Thurman “Bub” and Lelia Erwin Ford in Many, Louisiana and passed from this life on February 12, 2013 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Harold was a loving man, very determined, kind and considerate. He loved to hunt and fish. Working with his hands was a passion for Harold; he loved to build things, such as the tree house lookout he built for his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents Bub and Lelia Ford
Harold is survived by daughters, Jessica Ford of Lake Charles, Lisa Smith (Carl) of Hornbeck, Cindy Gibson of Leesville; brothers, David Ford of Hornbeck, Lloyd Ford (Donna Jo) of Negreet and Floyd Ford of Baytown, TX; and 11 grandchildren, Billy, Belle, Mason, Maddy, Amber, Halie, Elijah, Zoe, Shawn, Damien, Harley.
