Harold Glynn Roberts
(September 19, 1929 - August 17, 2011)

Mr. Harold Glynn Roberts, age 81 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Autumn Leaves Nursing Home in Winnfield.

Born Thursday, September 19, 1929 in Tullos, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Charlie B. Roberts and the late Mattie Lee Mott Roberts. He was also preceded in death by his son, Raymond Lee Roberts, brothers, James Roberts, Huey Roberts and Thomas Roberts, sisters, Elizabeth Zimmerman, Mary Belle Hannegan and Mona Ruth Rainwater.

Mr. Roberts was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, and retired from the Dow Chemical Company in Houston, TX.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Zeagler Roberts; step daughter, Teresa Bartley; and step sons, Eddie Bartley and Jack Bartley; 11 grand children; 10 great grand children.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 19th, 2011 at Crossroads Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce Weatherford officiating. Interment will be in Crossroads Cemetery, Tullos, LA.

Billy Zimmerman, Jimmy Zimmerman, Mike Roberts, Joseph Bartley, Scott Zimmerman, and David Hannegan will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Crossroads Baptist Church, Tullos, Louisiana.
