Harold Jones, 53, Dies In Shreveport

Mr. Harold Lamar Jones, 53, of Shreveport, died Wednesday evening suddenly at his residence.

He was a native of Clay and grew up in Ruston.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Osborne Funeral Home in Shreveport. Burial takes place at 5 p.m. in St. Francisville.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Perle Montgomery Jones of Shreveport, two daughters, Mrs. Edwin Jenkins and Mrs. Glen Taylor, both of Shreveport, one grandson. Two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Bridger of Ruston and Mrs. Nita Jones of Los Angeles, Calif., one brother, Hoyt Jones of Bloomington, Ill.
