GEORGETOWN -- Services for Harold Lewis Alwhite will be at 10 a.m. today in Georgetown United Pentecostal Church with the Revs. T. Michael Crist Sr. and Allen Hatten officiating. Burial will be in Lincecum Cemetery under direction of Rush, Pineville.
Alwhite, 76, of Georgetown died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, in his residence.
He was a native of Idabel, Okla., and a member of Georgetown United Pentecostal Church. He was a retired electrician and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Estelle Lincecum Alwhite of Georgetown; two sons, Carl Alwhite of Georgetown and Allan Thompson of Colfax; one daughter, Kimberly ``Sissy'' Thompson of Colfax; one brother, J.W. Alwhite of Maude, Texas; two sisters, Louise George of Lake Charles and Betty Niva of Minden; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call until time of services today in the church.
