Harold E. Tisdale
(July 9, 1933 - May 3, 2012)

Harold E. Tisdale, 78, of Hattiesburg, died May 3, 2012 at Wesley Medical Center. Services will be at 11:30 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2012 at 38th Avenue Baptist Church followed by burial in Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Tisdale was retired from TCI after 41 years as a designer, general manager and engineer. He served in the U.S. Navy in Korea and was a dedicated, active member of 38th Avenue Baptist Church where he also served as a deacon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Bertha Tisdale; and three brothers, Weber Tisdale, Bobby Tisdale and Burl Barnes.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Humphries Tisdale of Hattiesburg; a son, James H. Tisdale and his wife, Martha of Collierville, Tenn.; three daughters, Cathy Harrison of Irving, TX, Deborah Brewster and her husband, Larry of Tazewell, VA., Pamela Armentrout and her husband, Michael of Waynesfield, OH; a sister, Edith DuBose of Shreveport, LA.; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4:30 -- 8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.

Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society or 38th Avenue Baptist Church.
