Harold E. Walters
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home for Harold E. Walters, 78, of Hattiesburg, who died Jan. 24, 2004, at Forrest General Hospital.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Walters was retired from Ingalls Shipyard as a marine radiographer and served as a Mississippi Highway Patrolman. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the former pastor of three Baptist churches.
He was preceded in death by a son, Paul W. Walters.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Walters of Hattiesburg; three sons, Daniel H. Walters of Meridian, Phillip Walters of Escatawpa and Christopher I. Walters of Hattiesburg; two daughters, Faith W. Stafford of Theodore, Ala., and Gay Hope Mayles of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Joe J. Walters Jr. of St. Simons Island, Ga., and Gene Walters of Hattiesburg; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home.
