Harold Williams
Harold Williams, 71, of Winnfield died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Rapides General Hospital.
He was a member of the national and local chapters of the American Association of Retired Persons, a veteran of World War II with the 142nd Engineers Maintenance Company and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of First Methodist Church, Winnfield.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Williams of Winnfield; one son, Charles Williams of Lake Charles; one daughter, Gloria Sanders of Baton Rouge; one brother, Laverne Williams of Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Gertrude Frost of Brighton, Mich., and Helen Davenport of Hopkinsville, Ky.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Southern, Winnfield, with the Revs. Kelly Tingle, Floyd Harris and W.R. Gage. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Winnfield.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
